Welcome to my podcast!
Just a local girl trying to make the world a better place one communication tip at a time. After a 16-year break, I finally finished my thesis in the scientific study of human communication! That’s right - 75 pages, and 24,847 words later - you are listening to my precious “thesis baby.”
As a communication scholar, Emmy-nominated journalist, and Maui mom I’ve spent my whole life walking the line between formal education and trial & error - this podcast is that happy medium. It’s a platform for communication researchers to share their latest findings and teach communication skills (consider it the Cliffs Notes version - deep, yet digestible). It’s also a safe space for us to share, learn, and grow together.
Season one is focused on helping us to understand the role TECHNOLOGY plays when it comes to our communication. Communication scholars share their research to help us navigate these issues and learn how to use technology in a more responsible way.
